Equitable Net Zero Carbon in the Teton Region by 2030
In January 2020 about 100 people came together at the Pink Garter Theater in Jackson, WY to catalyze local climate action. The Teton Climate Action Partnership (TCAP) evolved out of that initial convening.
We believe that cross-sector collaboration that enables a diverse, distributed portfolio of project partnerships centering equity is the accelerated path to building community capacity, creating systemic change, and achieving equitable net zero carbon by 2030.
This purpose of this website is to:
Tell the STORY of the climate emergency and need for climate justice in the Teton Region
Identify climate action project OPPORTUNITIES
Promote and track climate ACTIONS
Provide DASHBOARDS that reports the past trends and future projections of climate change, carbon emissions, equity, and climate action.
Meeting and Events Schedule
TCAP will hold regular sector team meetings and quarterly cross-sector coordination meetings. Sector team meetings are where ideas are incubated into opportunities, opportunities are catalyzed into action, and updates are provided on action in progress. Coordination meetings build on the sector team meetings to facilitate cross-sector collaboration and ensure accountability to the TCAP principles.
